South Pasadena Cancer Center

The South Pasadena Cancer Center is a outpatient cancer center which serves the San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley and parts of greater Los Angeles. As one of the largest employers in South Pasadena, the Cancer Center is staffed with California Cancer Specialists physicians who provide expertise in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Hematology, General Oncologic Surgery & Breast Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, Neurosurgery, Urology and Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery. The physicians of the Cancer Center provide inpatient and surgical services at a variety of local hospitals including City of Hope and Huntington Hospital.
The South Pasadena Cancer Center is one of only a few physician operated free-standing cancer centers in Los Angeles to provide the full array of physician services in medical, surgical and radiation oncology. It was among the first in Los Angeles to offer RapidArc, a new advanced non-surgical radiation therapy that destroys tumors using computerized image-guided technology. In addition, the Center provides a comprehensive clinical research program for patients.
The South Pasadena Cancer Center specializes in many forms of cancer, including: bladder cancer, brain cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, endometrial cancer, kidney cancer, leukemia, lung cancer, melanoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer, and thyroid cancer. It currently provides patients with over 20 physician experts in cancer in a variety of specialties.
The South Pasadena Cancer Center is owned and operated by California Cancer Specialists Medical Group, Inc., a nationally recognized academic physician organization specializing in cancer research and treatment. With more than 180 doctors in 18 medical specialties, California Cancer Specialists physicians have been named in "America's Best Doctors for Cancer" a Castle Connelly publication for three successive years.
