They moved again in 1998 to Sioux Falls South Dakota. It was in Sioux Falls that Gabriel and his younger brother Nathanael first started their musical careers that continue unabated. They formed a duo called "Just Passin' Through". They eventually released two CDs of Christian cover songs and original music.
In 2006 the Brown family moved to Anchorage Alaska. Here Gabriel developed his SCUBA skills, learning drysuit, wreck and deep diving techniques.
In 2008 they moved again to Sierra Vista Arizona.
When Gabriel is not doing pony stuff, he likes to SCUBA, Skydive, Rock Climb, Ski, Free Run, and annoy people. He and Baasik have released a Pony-Themed album titled IMmortal.
Gabriel is a US Navy veteran. He enlisted in October 2008, entering boot camp at Great Lakes Illinois. Initially he pursued SEAL training, but a bad hip from a 2007 injury forced him to change his focus to Gunners Mate. His superiors noticed his singing talent and soon had him transferred to Musician training where he excelled. He has earned distinction as the lead vocalist in the 7th Fleet Band "Orient Express". Gabriel was honorably discharged from the Navy in 2013 after five years of service.
