Early life: Luther is the first of three children (Luther, and ) for Paulette and . He grew up in St. Andrew Jamaica where he developed a love for dancing while in the company of a family friend, Morine Dawson. His family moved to Toronto Canada in 1983. They lived for several years in the Jane & Finch area of the city. Luther along with his friends could often be seen break-dancing always drawing a crowd. While going to C. W. Jefferys high school, Luther again became very engaged in dance, choreographing the city’s biggest and most influential step-dancing performances and competitions. He would become good friends with Jully Black, who has become an icon for Toronto’s R&B. Luther attended University of Windsor for a short period before he launched his DoDat dance agency leading the energies of the Toronto Hip Hop R&B dance scene.


Career: He has created a professional urban dance community that linked Toronto to the ever growing entertainment industry of the United States. He has showcased his talent working with stars and up-and-comers from LA to New York and, Australia to Israel. His reel includes working with artists such as: Brandy, Shawn Desman, Alicia Keys, Mario, Kelis, P Diddy, Jully Black, Faith Evans, Olivia, Ray J, Dream, B4-4, Keshia Chante, Glenn Lewis, Choclair and Maestro.



Luther has grown to be one of the world’s most elite urban choreographers. He was a member of the judging panel for London England’s 2007 Nike Dance Clash. Luther has choreographed award winning music videos such as: "Talk About Our Love" - Brandy (Atlantic); "Bad Boy" & "Does He Love Me" - Keshia Chante (SonyBMG); "Just A Friend" & "C'mon" - Mario (SonyBMG); "Rewind" - Andreena Mill (Capitol Hill); "Get Ready" & "Shook" - Shawn Desman (SonyBMG)- winner of the 2003 MMVA for best Pop Video and 2003 UMAC award for best new artist. Luther was a part of the choreography team for the movie 2003 Honey.



Luther has also been the creative director for many tours. He has also choreographed various live shows for artists such as Gary Beals, Shawn Desman, Keshia Chante and Mario. He directed the RapCity/IllVibe Records Cross Canada Tour featuring Saukrates & Jully Black, Faith Evans' live performances, Dream's MTV TRL nationwide tour and Amerie's live shows and performances.Luther is now lending his expertise to artist development and songwriting. He has developed a successful formula and style. Luther’s passion for dance as well as his ability to continually challenge himself is one of his great gifts.
