Song Kexi

Song Kexi (born in Harbin, China in 1962) is a Chinese artist. Song graduated from the People’s Liberation Army Academy (PLA) of Arts in 1983. He graduated with A. Pincas Class at the Oil Painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China in 1987.
Song Kexi has exhibited extensively since 1984. Some highlights include the “Resonance - Sports in Air” touring exhibition around 6 cities in China; exhibited items at the “Arte Chino,” IVAM of Valencia (Spain); “Made in China” at opera Gallery, London; the first and second Shanghai Art Expos in 1997 and 1998; and the “Contemporary China Oil Painting” in Tokyo, 1985.
Song’s works have been auctioned internationally by Sotheby’s, and publicly collected by Hei Longjian Provincial Museum and the Committee of the 11th Beijing Asian Games.
Song currently works and lives in Shanghai.
