SMALL PLOTS ITS name of a locality in the posh area of gandhi nagar,JAMMU. about this place come under Gandhi nagar constituency. mr.raman bhalla is M.L.A(MEMBER OF LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLEY). HE IS ALSO REVENUE MINISTER OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR. THE NEAREST LAND MARK IS DUDHA DHARI TEMPLE. HISTORY small plots area (Extension of Gandhi nagar Colony) is allotted to the Government Servent in 1958 by the Housing Department of J&K State description This area is consisting more than 80 Plots and two parks . In the year 1988 a Tube Well was made by the PHE Department . After making efforts, the Resident of Small Plot developed Parks, beauitfully, wiht the help of FlouriCultural Depart .MLA Mr.Bhalla had greatly supported it . it was one of the oldest residential area of gandhi nagar. DEVLOPMENT it is a already devloped area of jammu. there is no shortage of water. power supply is for 24 hrs almost.(except summers, when power cut of 2 to 4 hrs is employed). roads are black topped.full connectivity with other areas.no problem of transportation. PARKS parks are use for the walks,joggs by the residents. people from nearby localities like nanak nagar, shastri nagar often come here. maintanance small plots wellfare association,park-2 is consituted for the maintainance of park.
