Skip Shea

Skip Shea is an American filmmaker, writer, artist and actor from Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He was nominated for an Emmy as a producer on season 2 for Beacon Hill the Series. He initially adapted the book and wrote season 1 which was also nominated. His first feature-length movie is '. Trinity was inspired in part by writer-director Skip Shea's own experiences with clergy abuse. His second feature Seeds won the Rondo Hatton Award for Best Indie Feature in 2020. His first film award was for “Ave Maria”, “Interiora Horror Fest”, 2013, Rome, Italy.

*2010 Poem. Songs of Mourning about the loss of his daughter Shawna was published in this anthology/text book.
*Jazz Trumpeter Jon Faddis reading of Songs of Mourning at 9/11 tenth anniversary event in Symphony Space in New York. A highlight of Skip Shea as an artist.
*2012 First horror short Microcinema was a Rondo Hatton Award runner up.
*October 2013 A Link to the Interiora Horror Fest in Rome, Italy-short Ave Maria won the Audience Award for Best Film.
*2016 Skip Shea's First Feature Trinity is released.
*Some of the awards of note are Best Actress for Lynn Lowry at the HorrorHound Film Festival and Best Drama at the Buffalo Dreams and Fantastic Festival.
* In 2010 Shea was nominated for a DayTime Emmy for his work as a producer on Beacon Hill season 2. he co-wrote season 1. It was nominated for OUTSTANDING LIMITED DRAMA SERIES.
*Second feature SEEDS won the Rondo Hatton Award for Best Independent Film and the Outstanding Horror Award at the Buffalo Dreams and Fantastic Festival.
