Chinna Alagumuthukone His name is Chinna Alagummuthu Servaikonar . His elder brother freedom fighter who was ruling in Thoothukudi district Kattalangulam town was the commander of the army. during his period (1729-1755).King Ettayapuram, who knew that Chinna Alagumuthu Servaikarar was helping his brother in the administration of and was ruling Kattalangulam well, became friends with the Alagumuthu brothers.
Birth
In Katalangulam, Thoothukudi district, the Yadava dynasty King Alagumuthukone and Alagumuthammal had sons Alagumuthukon and Chinna Alagumuthu born in 1728 and 1729. We know that he belonged to the Konar clan with the words "Gopala Vamsam, Krishna Gothram" written in a copperplate written by the great Veerappa Nayak.
Fight against British
He fought against the British East India Company in 1755 under the leadership of his brother . A unit of the British army came to destroy the Perumal temple and the idol inside it.At a time when the generals and soldiers of Alagumuthu were fighting fiercely to protect the Perumal temple, Chinna Alagumuthu was shot by the British and in 1755 he surrendered his life while worshiping the Lord in front of the Perumal temple. It is worth noting that many people in the dynasty of King Alagumuthukone lost their lives in the battlefield.
