Sindhu Biju

Sindhu Biju (Born on 04 Nov) is a radio jockey, journalist and news presenter, presently working for the Malayalam radio channel "Dubai's Own Hit 96.7 FM", one of the radio stations under Arabian Radio Network umbrella.
A trained journalist with a postgraduate diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, Sindhu started her career as News Presenter and sub editor in Kairali Channel, later joined in Jeevan TV as Senior News Producer. She worked in television in Kerala, India, for four years before moving to Dubai.
Sindhu’s role at Hit 96.7FM started with presenting bulletins and writing news scripts, but later shifted to programming. She is the RJ of popular drive time show called Radioactive along with her co-host Mithun Ramesh.
She received the "Chiranthana Media Award 2012 for Radio" as the first woman to achieve the coveted award.
Sindhu Biju and Mithun Ramesh of the UAE’s popular Malalyam radio channel Hit 96.7 FM hosted a 'talkathon' for 84.15 hours and entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for the Longest Marathon Radio Show "Radio Active". They set a new record that is seven hours and 4 minutes more than the 77 hours and 11 minutes record set by a DJ duo of Hot FM 91.3 of Singapore
