Offering a self-provisioning service, along with instant online payments via PayPal, companies may begin delivering content within minutes through SimpleCDN. Service offerings include HTTP caching, as well as on-demand and live Flash Streaming powered by Wowza Media Server. Geared towards smaller and International companies, SimpleCDN offers delivery services with instant setup times, free of long-term contracts or commitments.
SimpleCDN is one of the few companies to offer CDN service that rely solely on TCP Anycast for routing, rather than DNS based global load balancing. CacheFly is the only other major CDN to utilize such technology for load balancing.
SimpleCDN at one point had a relationship with Highwinds Network Group, however the company ended the relationship due to problems with the Highwinds CDN.
Multiple extensions exist to integrate SimpleCDN into popular CMS systems, and their service offerings include Mirror Buckets, which provide automatic HTTP caching from your own origin server.
Notably, SimpleCDN offers CDN servies at a fraction of the cost of others providers, which has lead to sometimes heated discussions regarding their ability to provide services at such a competitive price point.

SimpleCDN operates a single global network, unified under a single AS, 46177. Delivery locations currently exist across the US and Europe, with expansion into Asia and South America planned for 2010.
