IQ Inc's consultants and project teams have served the transportation, medical, telecommunications, steel, manufacturing, robotics, education, utilities, financial services, nuclear, Internet, retail, web development and military industries. IQ Inc. is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the New Jersey Unified Certification Program and the Port Authority of Allegheny County. IQ Inc. continues to benefit from steady growth and success under Barbara’s leadership and celebrated its 15th year in business in October 2008. Founder Barbara VanKirk was selected as one of “Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business” by the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development in 2003. She was selected by Seton Hill University’s E-Magnify as the 2009 Athena Award Winner and was named the 2009 Friend of the Family by the Parental Stress Center of Pittsburgh. Headquarters IQ Inc. is located in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, a suburb about 20 miles east of Pittsburgh.
