Simona Galikova Moore (born Jan 8 1975 in Zilina, Slovak Republic) is a former professional tennis player. She reached a career high ranking in 1996 in both singles and doubles on the WTA Tour from 1995 - 1998. She was inducted into the Flagler College Tennis Center Hall of Fame, and was named All-America honors every season she played. In 1998 Galik earned an unprecedented 30-0 record, undefeated. Career College Galik was ranked No. 1 in the nation in singles play and No. 18 in doubles play in 1998 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. She won the singles competition at the NAIA National Championships as a freshman and boasted an undefeated 30-0 record. In 1998 she received The James O'Hara Sargent Sportsmanship Award bestowed to players who display outstanding sportsmanship and exemplify the spirit of college tennis during the course of the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships. Galik was then selected as the 2001 ITA Senior Player of the Year in the NAIA and was a recipient of ITA’s James O’Hara Sportsmanship Award in 2000. Professional Galik was on the WTA Tour from 1995-1998. Personal Galik resides in North Carolina with her husband, Todd Moore of Martin Truex Jr Motorsports.
