Shraeya Srinivasan

Shraeya Srinivasan is the <big>FIRST</big> New England Regional Track and Field Champion for Foxboro High School. The Northeastern University-bound senior won the triple jump with a mark of 40-0.25, a week after becoming the first All-State champion for Foxboro High in more than a decade.
Srinivasan will compete in the National Scholastic Athletics Foundation Championships June 17 2017. Shraeya is now in the <big>TOP 15</big> in United States Nationals for Triple Jump.
This year Shraeya is THE League MVP of Hockomock League Previously she was named HOCKOMOCK LEAGUE ALL STARS for 2 years in a row 2015, 2016
Srinivasan wins Foxboro's first All-State title since 2006 “It was a pretty surreal moment,” said Srinivasan, whose first-place jump measured at 39-feet and six-inches. “We worked really hard in the weeks leading up to it in practice, so it really felt like all the hard work had paid off.” Northeastern University-bound Shraeya Srinivasan, the Foxboro High senior, had a strong meet, providing the Warriors with 10 points. Srinivasan, coming off of her Division 3 Meet championship, won the triple jump (39-6) by nearly a two-foot margin. Milton sophomore Alexis Daly was second in the triple jump (37-7), behind Foxboro’s Shraeya Srinivasan (39-6).
Foxboro High senior Shraeya Srinivasan led the list of impressive finishes for the Warrior girls’ track team at the Eastern Massachusetts Division 3 Championships over the weekend, repeating as Division 3 Champion and setting the meet record in the triple-jump.
Srinivasan set a new record at the Hockomock League level, smashing the prior 30-year-old mark with a triple jump of 40-foot-8.
Senior Shraeya Srinivasan was the lone double-winner for Foxboro, most notably setting a new school record in the triple jump with the best jump of her career.
Early Career - Gymnastics
Shraeya started into the world of sports, athletics with gymnastics at 9 years old. She competed as an XCEL Platinum. 
However gymnastics is not the only area in which she has excelled. She is a recent graduate of Foxboro High school where she ranked fourth out of 222 students. She was a member of the National Honor Society, and the Spanish National Honor Society.Just this year she received a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student award, a Top Ten graduate award, and a Graduate Class Math Award. Shraeya plays the violin and also was a member of the Foxboro High school String Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, & Chamber Orchestra. 
Through out her high school career, Shraeya was a member of the High School Track & Field Team in both the winter and spring seasons where she earned numerous awards including Outstanding Field Athlete in both Spring & Winter in 2015, 2016 & 2017. She was also a member of the All Star Team for Outstanding Athletic Achievement. She was a Hockomock League, D3 State, and All State triple jump champion, and New England and National Qualifier two years in a row. Shraeya is currently ranked 22nd in the nation in triple jump and at Nationals next week in Greensboro, North Carolina, she has a chance to finish in the top 5 nationally! 
Shraeya is attending North Eastern University and is majoring in Engineering.
