Simchung jun is a old book that was written in Korea a long time ago. It is guessed that it was written to tell poor people to do well to their parents. Simchung was a girl that has no mother, and only a father who is blind. Simchung was very kind, and wanted her father to open his eyes. One day, she saw a monk on the street and asked for curing her father's eyes. He said if she give 300 bags of rice to their temple, her father will open his eyes. However, her family was very poor, and she thought she can't do anything. Right after that, she saw a crowd of people. They said they will give 300 bags of rice if there is a person who want to go to the sea for the king of the sea. She knew she would die if she do that, but for her father, she recommends them that she will go to the sea. Finally, she was thrown into the ocean by them. However, she didn't die. She went to the sea kingdom and met the king of the sea. The king of the sea get deep impression at Simchung's filial affection. He sent her back to the surface and met the king, and king fell in love. Simchung became a queen, but never smiled because of her father. So, the king was very worried about her. Simchung said she had a dream that she want to have a party , and the king ordered all the blinds to come to the party. Simchung found her father in the crowd of blind, and when she call him father, he opened his eyes because of surprisement. After that, they all became happy. From S.Korea
