Siglo XXIII

Siglo XXIII (23rd Century) of El Salvador is a process of social transformation through culture. It is non-partisan, voluntary, and entirely nonprofit. It's work is coordinated by Marta Benavides The membership is made up of individuals and cultural and educational organizations. It promotes culture of peace through the expansion of consciousness as well as trainings on conflict transformation and values.

There are a variety of organizations that sponsor Siglo XXIII:
* El Museo Aja, is a project for social transformation through culture, an active and living culture of peace.
* The Ecological House in Nahuizalco, Sonsonate, El Salvador which includes a program to support elderly indigenous women, shade gardens for colibri and butterflies in the public park, and several cooperation programs with rural communities.
* The Permaculture Farm which also functions as a lung for the city, provides water filtration and purification to increase the water table, and works for the preservation of animal and plant species.
* The International Free University for Peace which hosts a variety of cultural and education events on local, national, regional and international matters for the common good and health of the planet.
