Shyamanand Jha

Shyamanand Jha (born in Madhubani, Bihar) is an Indian cinematographer..
Early life
After completing high school, from his native place DULLIPATTI, Jaynagar, BIHAR, Shyamanand Jha, came to Calcutta for higher study. Jha`s elder brothers Shardanand Jha and Binodanand Jha,were a very respectable entrepreneurs there in Calcutta. Shardanand Jha was also known for his love towards the Mithila culture and Maithili language.
Career
Jha graduated in science from university of calcutta and joined his family business of Lubricants and Computer education. Heavily influenced by his elder brothers` love for Maithili language, Shyamanand too wanted to contribute towards the development of Maithili language. In the process he got an opportunity to produce a Maithili Telefilm RAJA SALHES. This Telefilm was presented by Shardanand Jha and Binodanand Jha. This project provided a new platform to Shyamanand. With new interest in cinema, Jha did diploma in camera from AAFT NOIDA.
Jha shifted to Mumbai where he started working as cinematographer.
He is Planning to direct a quality Maithili film.
