Gutter King

Gutter King is 2009 fight drama written and directed by Keith Alan Morris. The film is an urban coming-of-age story about a tough street kid (Zeb Halsell) just released from the Juvenile Department of Corrections. His new foster father (Casey Clark) tries to channel the boy's rage into amateur fighting, but his jealous brother (Blake Logan) wants him dead.
The film is based on Morris' award-winning short stories that won the prestigious Schneider Prize and Cooper Award for best short fiction and will be shot on the breakthrough RED camera; the only ultra-HD digital cinema camera in the world (Super 35mm quality).
Principal photography began on March 15, 2008 and the film was shot entirely in Orlando, Florida. On Morris' official blog, Morris wrote the film will be reminiscent of Fight Club and American Beauty; as well as feature stuntwork from martial artist Mason Sharrow, who appears in the second season of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. On November 3, 2008, an unofficial trailer was released to the film's website.
Gutter King had its first public screening at the Plaza Cinema Cafe in downtown Orlando on October 22, 2009
