Shree Saraswati Secondary School

Saraswati Secondary School is located in Damak-9, Jhapa District, Nepal.
History
Established in 1967 AD (2024 BS), the school owes its inception to the efforts of social activists from Damak, including late Dambar Bahadur Adhikari, late Sher Bahadur Niroula, late Vijaya Mohan Singh (Kotbabu), late Jaya Bahadur Kunwar, late Khadga Bahadur Thapa, late Bhakta Bahadur Budhathoki, late Jagat Bahadur Subedi, and late Dhan Bahadur Tamang. Initially, it operated from a modest hut in Charak Pada, Damak Ward No. 6. Subsequently, it relocated to Ward No. 14 (Now 9), thanks to the endeavors of late Dambar Bahadur Adhikari. The institution began as a primary school in 2024 BS, progressed to a lower secondary school in 2036 BS, and achieved secondary school status in 2043 BS.
Academic Programs
Saraswati Secondary School offers a comprehensive range of programs:
* Early Childhood Development (ECD) to Class 8: Conducted in English medium.
* Classes 9 and 10: Available in both English and Nepali mediums.
* Classes 9 to 12: Feature a technical stream in Computer Engineering, with an annual intake capacity of 48 students.
