ShopInterest

ShopInterest is a website founded in 2012 by Francisco Guerrero, Liang Huang and Thomas Hodgins. It allows retailers to publish, manage, sell products and services via social media. Originally, the team had initially developed 'Pintics', a service that provided web analytics to Pinterest business users.
Products and services
ShopInterest allows users of services such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa and Google Drive to create a 'virtual social store' created from the product images found in these places. Each product is now available for sale and ShopInterest assists or completes the transaction. Its ShopInterest Sales Network also allows anyone to re-sell any of these items to earn a commission dictated by the seller of the products.
Funding
ShopInterest is backed by 500Startups, BodaBus Investment Firm, and other angel investors.
Features
ShopInterest online stores are able to handle transactions of products and services via PayPal. The online store can manage inventory, payments and provides a running track of sales orders. It also offers tools to publish store items via social media, where each image share can be clicked-to-purchase, ShopInterest also offers 'one-click' publishing tool for Pinterest, along with Facebook and Twitter sharing.
ShopInterest allows their sellers to determine a commission for any products that can be re-sold by anyone. Sellers and re-sellers can join the sales network and receive commissions for selling products.
