Shobiz Experiential Communications Pvt. Ltd. is an experiential communications agency headquartered in Mumbai, India - with offices in Dubai and Singapore. Shobiz is considered to be the oldest and most experienced Indian event agency. History The company was founded by Rehmatali Tobaccowala and started with providing lighting services for events in Mumbai. Rehmatali and his company created staging solutions for the first Indian stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and Kabaret. They also designed and executed India’s first product launch for Unilever’s Rexona. In 1980, he established Shobiz and started producing concerts and award shows in India. Sameer Tobaccowala joined as the CEO in 1990.
