Shmuel Hoffman

Shmuel Hoffman is a filmmaker based in the greater New York area and the founder of Hoffman Productions, which specializes in commercials, online videos and viral marketing content. His clients include Showtime, Aish, Yeshiva University, Pardes, Teri Jon and Jewish Educational Media. Hoffman also garnered acclaim after producing a video that went on to win Nefesh B'Nefesh's Israel in a Minute video competition. He also worked on The Temerity of Zim, a successful 2008 short film, directed by Joshua Kopple.

Hoffman is also the founder of the Jerusalem Film Syndicate, which includes filmmaker Wayne Kopping, the director of controversial documentary Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West, which explores Radical Islam and propaganda, as a member.

Hoffman studied Photography and Visual Communication at Fachhochschule Hannover and works between New York, Berlin and Jerusalem.
Hoffman is also an accomplished violist and has degrees from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar.

Hoffman runs Hoffman Productions in partnership with his wife Margelit Hoffman, a graduate of Bennington College, who specialises in social media marketing.
