Julian Klein (* 1973 in Wittlich, Germany) is a German composer, researcher and theatre director. He lives in Berlin. Life He studied with Reinhard Febel, Nigel Osborne, Heiner Goebbels and Wolfgang Rihm. He is teaching at University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt/Main as well as at the University of Arts Berlin in directing. Julian Klein has been directing productions a.o. for SWR, HR, DLR, Göttinger Symphonie Orchester, Staatstheater Hannover, Berliner Festspiele, Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz Berlin, as well as at Hebbel am Ufer, Sophiensaele and Deutsches Theater Berlin.
