Early Life
Born (December 14, 1990) and brought up in a small Indian town - Chhapra in Bihar state - Shivendu Ranjan has entered his name as one among the young and dynamic researcher. His father, Mr. Ravi Ranjan Prasad Singh is an Advocate and two-term General Secretary of Chhapra Advocate Bar Association and is a dynamic personality known for his work towards development., His mother, Mrs. Madhuri Singh is a school teacher and a real motivation for him.
Global Recognition
At the very young age, Shivendu Ranjan from Chhapra has made entry from India to the world-class success in the field of Science and Research by publishing six books. Shivendu is first from India who has published books in Sustainable Agriculture Reviews - a book series of Springer. His book has been adopted by libraries of world leading universities including MIT, USA, Princeton University, Washington University in St. Louis, University of California, San Diego, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Liverpool, University of Wisconsin-Madison, California Academy of Sciences etc. and has been appreciated throughout the globe. Based on the quality of his books, Shivendu has been nominated as Executive Editor as well as Advisor to many publishers throughout the globe,. Recently has been nominated as Associate Editor in Environmental Chemistry Letters as a youngest scientist in this journal editorial team. Environmental Chemistry Letters covers the interfaces of geology, chemistry, physics and biology. Articles published here are of high importance to the study of natural and engineered environments. This journal has a lot of importance among scientists throughout the globe and is getting published from America, France, and Germany. Sustaining with higher impact factor, this journal publishes works from different disciplines as chemistry, physics, material science, biological science etc. and Shivendu has been nominated as the expert of Nanotechnology and Biotechnology. Different organizations throughout the globe have awarded and honored Shivendu, recently he has also been nominated as Advisor of Elsevier, USA.
Research and Innovations
Shivendu Ranjan is known for his research which is focused on the application of nanotechnology in different disciplines as the environment, food, agriculture, and drug. Till date, he has invented different novel methods and has fabricated/analyzed more than 10 nanomaterials which have different applications, some of these nanomaterials are - titanium dioxide, silver, gold, graphene, silica, tin, and different nanoemulsion etc. His inventions will be helpful in many ways for the society such as efficient drug delivery, efficient delivery of nutraceuticals in food, nano-pesticides, nano-weedicides, nano-biosensors, as well as nano-sorbents to remediate contaminants from environment., He was one among the few scientists who shows their concerns towards risk assessment, risk management and toxicity of nanomaterials used in food.,
Social Work
His dream is to establish a foundation where young generation from the small towns and villages in India could show their potential, talent and also could compete to lead the global science, research, and education. Inspired from his parents he has founded Xpert Arena - an organization which is functional and excellently contributing from last two years. Xpert Arena is an EduTech organization dedicated to provide quality education and inclining the student’s interest towards basic science and research including developing their personality towards true sense of education.,
