Shell Vacations Club is a points-based timeshare program that is operated by Shell Vacations LLC. Background The company was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. Shell vacations operates 24 resorts in the United States, Canada, and Mexico and has 110,000 vacation owners and members. Key executives include Sheldon Ginsburg (Chairman and CEO), Tracy Sherles (President), Bernard Freibaum (CFO), Paul Adreani (President of Shell Vacations Club), and Susan C. Kelley (President of Shell Vacations Club and President of Shell Vacations Hospitality). In August 2011 Shell Vacations announced a long-term master affiliation agreement with Interval International. As of January 2, 2012, Shell Vacations Club members will be enrolled as members of Interval International, which will give them the opportunity to redeem their points for stays at resorts in Interval’s network.
