Sharana Sree

Sharana Sree is an accomplished young girl who proves herself to be a multi splendored genius. She learnt Indian and Western music. She got qualified 8 Grades in Solo Piano Grade examinations conducted by Trinity College of Music, London. This enabled her to gain an understanding patterns of Western music. Further, she made a mark in Carnatic music - vocal, Violin, Light /Semi-classical music and Kuchipudi dance.She achieved Diploma with Distinction in Carnatic music and Kuchipudi Dance.
She is now pursuing her M.E (Master of Engineering course in Mechanical branch) with specialization in CAD/CAM. Besides being an academician, she showed her mettle in Karate. She is a black belt holder in karate. She also participated in sports like (National Level), Martial arts (achieved black belt from YamaGuchi Karate International with Nunchaku and Sticks). She was recognized as International Kuchipudi Dancer at International Dance Festival - 2012. She was awarded BALARATNA at the age of 14.
Early life
Sharana Sree Maddiboina was born on 22 July 1994 to a Telugu Hindu family at Karimnagar district, Telangana. Her father Krishna Maddiboina is a Businessman and her mother Keerthana Maddiboina is a Housewife. At the age of 5, she started learning arts simultaneously with the academics as per the schedule planned by her father. With the passing of time, She got habituated to all the activities.
Education
She started her educational journey in 1997 at Hyderabad. Her schooling started at Vignan Jyothi Grammar School, Champapet. Then she moved on to Dilsukhnagar Public School, Dilsukhnagar. Later she continued her high school education at Indo English High School (MNR Educational Institutions), Santoshnagar. She pursued her intermediate from Narayana Group of Educational Institutions, Gaddiannaram in 2009. She was graduated as Mechanical Engineer in 2015 from Matrusri Engineering College affiliated to Osmania University. At present, she is doing Masters in Mechanical engineering specializing in CAD/CAM at Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Career in Karate
In 2000, she started learning Martial Arts at YamaGuchi Karate International under the instructor Mr.PawanKumar Sharma. Her Karate training starts with jogging, warm-ups, exercises, Kataas and sparring. she did completed Black Belt in 2004 even passed in Nanchaku and Karate Stick.
Achievements
Following are few of the achievements in Karate Championships.
* She won Gold Medal in All India Karate Open Championship, 2002 at the age of 10.
* Won Gold Medal in All India Karate Open Championship (2002) organized by Kung-fu.
* Received an award of Hon our in 2003 for Sparring at Jawahar Bal Bhavan.
* Won Gold Medal in District Level Open Karate Championship (2003) organized by Shotokan Karate.
* Won Gold Medal in National Open Karate Championship (2003) in Katas organized by Yamaguchi Karate International.
* Won Silver Medal in National Open Karate Championship (2004) in Katas organized by Yamaguchi Karate International.
* Won Gold Medal in A.P Open Karate Championship(2006) organized by Defenders Karate of Martial arts.
Career in Violin
Initially she started learning Violin from Mr.NallanChakravarthula Buchacharyulu. Simultaneously, she continued practicing carnatic vocal under him and completed Diploma in Carnatic Vocal.Then she completed diploma in violin under the guidance of Mr.S.V.Ramana Moorthy. She did performed various concerts of violin and vocal all over south India.
Career in Music
At the age of 5, she started learning Carnatic Vocal. She joined in Bhairavi Sangeetha Academy and learned Carnatic vocal from Dr.Vyzarsu Balasubhramanyam
She completed diploma with distinction in Carnatic Vocal under the guidance of Mr.NallanChakravarthula Buchacharyulu. She performed many classical concerts of vocal. She is even a good tutor of carnatic music. She learnt Light music from Dr.Chitharanjan.
Career in Kuchipudi Dance
She started her practice in Classical Dance at the age of 5 with the guidance of Mr.Sreenivas and did various dance performances under him.There after she migrated to Dr.Sudhakar and Dr.Ratnasree sudhakaran and completed Diploma in kuchipudi dance, simultaneously she joined in Yakshaganam, is the coarse related to kuchipudi and completed Diploma in Yakshaganam from Pottisreeramulu Telugu University under the guidance of Dr.Vanaja Uday and Dr.Alekhya Punjala in 2011. Sharana Sree did performed in various dance Ballets in a required classic manner related to Hindu Epics.
Career in Piano
She learnt Solo Piano under the guidance of Mr.M.Benjamin for 5 years upto 5 Grades and applied for Grade Examinations conducted by Trinity College of Music, London.
Then she migrated to Melowings Music Institute and completed Grade-6, Grade-7, Grade-8 with merit under the guidance of Mr.Raja sher Singh.

* Received NEHRU AWARD from Hon'ble Minister M.S.Satyanarayana, Minister of Sports, Hyderabad on 2005-11-17.
* Received VIVEKANANDA AWARD for Excellency in Karate from Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Hyderabad.
* Received UGADI PURASKAAR Award from Padmasree Gnanapita Award Grahita C. Narayana Reddy and eminent personalities of Sri Shankam Arts Theatres Hyderabad on 2006-03-26.
* Received UGADI PURASKAAR from C. Narayana Reddy and eminent personalities of RASAMAI SAHITHI, SANSKRUTHI SANATHA, Hyderabad on 2008-07-16.
* Received BALARATNA AWARD from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Hyderabad in 2008.
