Shapur Mozaffarian (born Tehran, Iran in 1942) is a jeweler based in San Francisco, California. Background Mozaffarian was born in Tehran, Iran. He was born into a family who came from a tradition of jewelers originating from the Grand Bazaar, the oldest historical market in Tehran. His great grandfather was the personal jeweler to several Kings of the Qajar dynasty. He is a former bazaari who wanted to expand the business when he ambitiously fulfilled his vision for a new style of boutique unseen in Iran at the time. The name of this boutique was Partieh, which was located in downtown Tehran across from the US Embassy, in a location that was then known as the Champs Elysee of Iran. In 1981 Mozaffarian moved his company headquarters to San Francisco. Shapur Mozaffarian is located in a historic six-story building at 272 Post Street. His boutique has been selling luxury timepieces since 1883.
