Shamsher Singh is an Indian journalist who has worked with news networks including Aajtak, India TV and Zee Media Network. He was awarded the Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism in 2010 Early life Singh was born on 7 October 1966 in a small village of Purnea District in Bihar, India. Career In 1998 he joined Aajtak as a reporter. He came back to Delhi in 2009 as Deputy Editor for Aajtak, where he was involved in political and investigative journalism. In November 2013, he moved to India TV as editor for Current Affairs. In April 2017 he joined as Editor National Affairs, Zee Hindustan, and launched the channel.
