Lalit Narayan Jha (born 15 January 1984) is an Indian journalist, columnist, writer and news anchor from Mailam, Madhubani, Bihar. He is the founder and editor of Mithila Mirror. He also works with Electronic Media Monitoring Centre in the Information and Broadcasting Ministry as a news monitor, and has also worked with several Hindi and Maithili news channels. Early life & education Jha was born in Madhubani, India.He completed his higher secondary education from R K College, Madhubani, Bihar.Later he did PG Diploma in Mass Communication from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kolkata. Career Lalit has been working in the Broadcasting & Electronic media industry since 2004.For the utmost passionate dedication towards the development of Mithila society, He has been working creatively in the field of Hindi language media for over 10-11 years focusing on social and political issues.He has worked with many media channels and done his internship from Zee News Kolkata. In the year 2005 he joined a crime magazine and later in 2007 he joined a national daily “Mayam” and was posted in Kolkata as a special correspondent.Meanwhile, he was associated with "Mithila Samwad" and many other journals as an independent journalist. Further, in 2009, he joined ‘Real Watch’ magazine in Kolkata as bureau chief.In the same year after the news internship from Zee News Kolkata, he worked as a special correspondent in ‘Taza TV’ in Kolkata. After that he worked with ‘Saubhagya Mithila TV’ channel as an Anchor Producer and as a Bureau Chief in ‘TV24’ in Delhi later he joined the ‘Khoj India’ as an Anchor, Producer and with the same designation he worked in ‘Har Khabar’. In May, 2017 Lalit Nr Jha led the campaign and played a pivotal role to bring this incident to police and medias eye. After that several organization such as Mithila Student Union Awards In August 2016 he was honored with "The Heroes Award" 2016 by a non-Government organization at New Delhi Constitution Club.He was also conferred with "Maithili Samman" 2016 by Mithila Vikash Parishad Kolkata. In the same year Jha was honored with "Youth Journalism" award by Mithila Cultural Committee, Guwahati.
