Shameekia Price was named all star player "MVP" in the Crim High Christmas Tournament where she scored an all time high of 32 points with 16 rebounds, and 6 assists beating the undefeated Crim High Girls in 1992. Shameekia was honored by the Atlanta Tip off club for her outstanding performance in Sports and academics. Shameekia being named one of Atlanta's top female players was offered scholarship opportunities to play at Florida A & M College, Clark Atlanta University, and Albany State University. After Graduating at Southside Comprehensive High School with a GPA of 3.6 being in the top 10 percent of her magnet class. Shameekia chose Albany State University to play sports for the Lady Rams with a full Scholarship. In 1996 Shameekia was offered an opportunity to play for the Atlanta Glory Female Professional Basketball Team. After one outstanding season with the Atlanta Glory with an average 15 points and 12 rebounds per game Shameekia resigned.
