Shakeela Salim

Shakeela Salim is the women political person in Alapra, Manimala in Kottayam district, Kerala, India. She is the ward member of Manimala Grama Panchayth, 12th ward Alapra since 2010-present. She is a member of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) as a State Executive committee member, and represents Melekavala constituency of local self-government in India.
Political career
She started her political life as a member of Mahila Congress, the women's wing of Indian National Congress (INC). In 2000 she was the part of Vanitha Mission in represented for Manimala Grama Panchayath. In 2005 Local Self Government election time, Indian National Congress avoid her name in candidateship list. And replace of the possession got to one new face candidate. The new person’s family back ground is Communist Party. That time she is resign to INC and stop her Political life.
But the same time the BSP Politicians are visit and convince to involve the particular Election. Shakeela Salim was rejoining to politics and takes the membership of BSP. The election result is very horrible failure give to UDF. 2005 poling day’s the last minute LDF and UDF are create a secret alliance. But LDF politicians are not vote for UDF candidate. After published the election result Shakeela Salim is achieved the second palace. So she is not unhappy her Election result, and after election she work in society. She involved CDS, ADS, Kudumbasree and some extra social activity.
The next LSG Election 2010 is the best one of her political life. That time upgrade Manimala Grama Panchayath 12 ward to 15 wards and rearranged the constituency boundaries. Melekavala is new constituency in Manimala Grama Panchayath, its official number is 12 (XII) ward Melekavala. Manimala Grama Panchayath 12 ward Melekavala is a General ward of that time (2010). UDF’s candidate Abdul Assis Palakkal, he is a senior IUML Politician in Kottayam District, LDF’s candidate Achuthan Pillai, he is the senior communist politician and member and branch secretary of CPI(M). Both are the main defenders of her success. Both are fail, it’s not standard failure that means both are not achieve their own election deposited money.
The five year is the golden time of the development in Melekavala. All part of the ward are developed and all roads are completed her time. 100% of SC fund use and write a new history in Manimala Grama Panchayath. The 2010-2015 (five year) MGNREGA act biased on 100 days work 100% executed one ward in manimala Grama Panchayath that is 12 ward of Manimala Grama Panchayath. The Shakeela Salim completed her five year and she decided stopped the political life. But some political scenario is the base of the change her decision. She again elected from Melekavala in 2015 LSG election. In 2014 to She is the part of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Kerala State Executive committee.
Personal life
She is the daughter of Mohammad and Sainaba Beevi. She married Salim Rowter Kaniyaparambill in 1993 January 27. The kaniyaparambill family is one of the oldest and Muslim rich Rowther family in [https://www.google.co.in/maps/@9.4557604,76.7613367,18z Alapra]. They have two sons M.S Muhammed Shafeek, Shameer M Salim and one daughter Shameena M Salim. Mr. Salim Rowther Kaniyaparambill was a business man, now days he is an unemployed. M.S Muhammed Shafeek is completed his Post Graduate in MCJ (Master of Mass Communication and Journalis). In 2016, 04th day of April he started his carrier in Mangalam Daily (Sub-Editor) Kottayam. Now he is leave and still studies in higher. Shameer M Salim, Completed his BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) degree in Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanacherry. The daughter Shameena M Salim is still study in school.
