Shahu II

Shahu II (born 7 January 1948) of the Bhonsle dynasty, is the present and titular Maharaja of Kolhapur.
Shahu II was born as Dilipsinh Bhonsle in Nagpur junior house. He is son of the daughter of Shahaji II of Kolhapur and was adopted to his maternal grandfather's throne.
Offspring
Shahu II married Maharani Yagyaseniraje on 9 March 1970, the couple have two sons:
* Yuvraj Sambhajiraje Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj Bhonsle, the Heir Apparent (11 February 1971-), married Yuvrani Sanyuktaraje Sahib Maharaj, maternal granddaughter of Pratap Singh Gaekwad of Vadodara. He has one son:
**Balkumar Shahajiraje Maharaj Bhonsle, the Heir Presumptive
* Maharajkumar Malojiraje Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj Bhonsle (1975-), m. 11 December 1999, Shrimati Dhawalshriraje Sahib Maharaj, née Miss Madhurimar Khanvilkar. He has a son and a daughter:
**Yashraje Malojiraje Maharaj Bhonsle (2005-)
**Yashashwini Raje Bhonsle (2001-)
