Shah Sharfuddin Wilayat was a Sufi master in Malir neighbourhood of Malir Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The Sufi shrine of Ayub Shah Bukhari is also located in Malir. On January 21, 2014, Three bullet-riddled bodies were found on Monday near the Sufi Shah Wilayat Shrine. The Taliban, who follow a very strict interpretation of Islam, consider shrine worshipping and Grave worshiping as un-Islamic and have mounted attacks on Sufi shrines and pilgrims who visit theses shrines. Talibans claimed responsibility for slaying the six people in a note found by police near the bodies. A Trust was established named after Shah Sharfuddin Shahwilayat, s Sufi saint of Federal B. Area for establishing a Shahwilayat Public School. |
