Shael Riley

Shael Riley (born November 12, 1981) is a singer and songwriter currently residing in New York.
History
His music became widely known on the Internet through OverClocked ReMix due to a song called "Zelda, Music Of My Groin"., which pokes fun, or pays tribute to, depending on the listener's point of view, the theme music for the popular Nintendo video game The Legend of Zelda.
In 2005, he created an album of original music entitled Toybox, which was published free on the Internet and from which several tracks, particularly "Bit Pop" and "Down With Bane" became popular in nerdcore circles. Since then, he has performed his music before live audiences (typically in the New York area) and has been slated to open for more well-known Nerdcore artists such as MC Frontalot and Optimus Rhyme. He performed at the increasing large MAGFest convention on January 5, 2007 with several other artists from the video game music arrangement community and, several days later, engaged in a freestyle rap battle with AE of the band Wave Theory during their performance.
On December 14, 2007, Riley's project, The Grammar Club, released its first EP, Bremelanotide. Other members of The Grammar Club include Beefy, DJ Snyder, and Glenn Case. They released the album MC Horse Rides Again in 2010.
In 2009, Shael Riley founded the bitpop band, Shael Riley and the Double Ice Backfire, along with Ty "Suzumebachi" Guenley and Ricky Henry. They released their first EP, Songs From the Pit, on July 11, 2009. Their first full album, Ultimate Songs From the Pit is due in 2011. The band recently contributed to the tribute album Twenty-Six and a Half, which received acknowledgement and praise from Yankovic himself.
