Sesis

Sesis was the codename for a line of hardware produced by Microsoft in 1998. The equipment production was abandoned within a few months of its creation, although no reason has been given.

Significance
At the time of its introduction, Popular Science magazine noted the Sesis line for being groundbreaking in its method for storing data and running programs. However, they criticized the hardware for not keeping up that reputation in its public debut.
