Selena Du () is the 2014 Miss Intercontinental United States. She is the first Asian-American winner of Miss Intercontinental United States. She is Fluent in Mandarin, English and French. She is the descendant of Qing dynasty minister Li Fengbao. Biography Selena Du of Russian descent spent her childhood in Europe before moving to the US. She was a member of the China Central Television (CCTV) Galaxy Troupe, a top performing group for youth in China. She started her training in vocal music and acting since she was little, and she has appeared in a variety of TV productions and shows. She had received Ballet training at Vaganova Academy. She has competed in international music contest and won numbers of awards. Family Background Selena Du's great-grandfather was a military strategist of the former Soviet Union under Khrushchev. Her maternal grandfather came from a family of doctors, they were the army physician for Feng Yuxiang. Du's father is a mathematician and her mother received Ballet training under the tutelage of Ulanova.
