is a Japanese gravure idol and talent from Osaka Prefecture. Her agency is Chat Noir, though she formerly was affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo's Yoshimoto Gravure Agency. Career Tomori graduated from junior college at Kansai Gaidai College in 2009 and later that year enrolled in New Star Creation's female talent course. She was one of the three finalists of the course who were selected by Yoshimoto Gravure Agency, following a public audition held at Lumine the Yoshimoto (in Shinjuku) on 30 August 2009. She used Lumine the Yoshimoto as her home stage for her idol debut, appeared on the TV show ', and started appearing as a model. She was part of the "GIRLS POP NEXT" live concert held in Yoshimoto Prince Theater on 7 February 2010, at which Momoiro Clover, , SDN48, and others also appeared. After a live concert on 20 March 2010 she suddenly announced that she was leaving Yoshimoto Gravure Agency, since she had to care for her mother who had suddenly fallen ill, and she ended her idol activities in Tokyo. Since then, Tomori has been active as a gravure model based in Kansai, appearing in a large number of magazines (and as a promotional model at events around Osaka), affiliated with Chat Noir, and as one of the De Chau! Girls. In 2014, she was a contestant on the Tokyo MX variety show Mayonaka no o Baka Sawagi!, which she won during two months. Personal life Tomori was born to a Japanese father and an American mother, so she has relatives in the United States and Canada, and is bilingual, speaking Japanese (the Kansai dialect, as she notes) and English fluently. Because of her hair, her fellow idols call her “Buri-chan” (“yellowtail-chan”), or “alpaca”. She won Mayonaka no o Baka Sawagi! after doing an alpaca impression. Tomori says that her hobbies include belly dancing, ice skating, comedy, Zumba dance, and collecting earrings. She says she greatly admires Britney Spears.
