Seeed Technology (It is also called Seeed Studio or Seeedstudio), is an open hardware facilitation company in Shenzhen, China, designs modular electronics for quick prototyping and small scale projects. It offers its products through a network of distributors and online bazaar. History Seeed Technology was founded in 2008 by Eric Pan.. He also created a hackerspace (Chaihuo Maker Space) in 2011 and introduced the first Mini Maker Faire to China in 2014. Open-source hardware Seeed Technology was one of the contributors in drafting the first OSHW definition. All products designed and produced by Seeed are released as Open-source hardware. |
