The Envizions Computer Entertainment Corporation is a technology company that creates and implements software as well as hardware. Based in Anniston, Alabama, Envizions most prominent product to date is the EVO Smart Console, which is the one of first system ever to be completely developed with open source technology. Envizions was founded by current CEO and Founder Derrick Samuels. Their main platform revolves around one company providing a various array of services and products. History When speaking of the creation of his company Derrick Samuels says, "It was around 2004 when I first got the idea for the EVO system. I have three daughters - I felt that the systems didn’t allow them to utilize different functions. This was the basic idea that spawned the company." The company originally designed their products using Microsoft, but felt the operating system had to many restrictions. So when the Envizions returned from The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas they began working with the open source community. Products *EVO Smart Console- a convergence system produced by the Envizions Computer Entertainment Corporation. The system is designed to work as a game console, PC, and storage device. *Mirrors Evolution X - is an operating system developed by Envizions using open source technology. *EVO Cloud Service - a fully functional desktop environment via the internet.
