Securitainment

Securitainment is a form of popular culture that combines entertainment with instruction in managing the risks of the post-9/11 era, and which typically deals with anti-terrorism or military activities.
The concept was originated by Mark Andrejevic, PhD., researcher at the Centre for Critical and Cultural Studies at the University of Queensland. He is the author of and , as well as numerous articles on surveillance, new media, and popular culture.
