Season of Mischief Yearly promotion by Oxfordshire brewer Wychwood Brewery most famously known for brewing the Ruby Ale Hobgoblin. Runs from 1 October until 31 October (Halloween) which is the third largest retailing occasion of the year. In 2016 "Season of Mischief" is in its eighth year Many people participate in Mischief via social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. In 2014 this linked to the Hobgoblin competition "Wheel of Misfortune", in a first for any British brewer, Wychwood broadcast a game show live on Facebook on the night of Halloween 2014.
