Sean Scullion is a contemporary magician, author on magick and contemporary Fool. He writes under the pen name Major Hassles or his own name and performs under the name Seani Fool. He is best known for being the editor of Liber Malorum, an occult anthology released in late 2007. Early career Scullion first became known as a writer in the magical scene in the 1990s through articles published in the Australian Witchcraft magazine where he wrote regular articles on Pagan Activism, Discordianism and chaos magic. He has been involved in numerous occult, pagan and theatre groups in Australia, Britain, Japan and Mexico. In 2004, Scullion co-authored (with Adrian Harris) the Introduction To Pagan Activism. The book was written for the Alternate European Social Forum in 2004, a 'bottom up' alternative to the main Forum held in London. A workshop using the book was run at the summer gathering in the East Midlands in early August 2004. The book has been made available as a free download from the Dragon Environmental Network website (see Bibliography below). In 2005 he was part of the protests surrounding the 31st G8 summit held at Gleneagles in Scotland. On July 9th he was part of a demonstration against the extension of the M74 motorway, held on the King George V bridge in Glasgow. He allegedly 'de-arrested' a fellow protestor dressed as a fairy and was charged with obstructing the police. He was found not guilty at a trial in October 2005. Recent History In late 2007, Scullion started PagAnarchy Press, a publishing company specialising in books concerning the overlap between Paganism and Anarchy. The first (and only) release from PagAnarchy is Liber Malorum - Children Of The Apple, 'woven' by Scullion. This book boasts a collection of 23 short stories written by different authors of magic, paganism and the occult. Scullion is currently on tour in the UK promoting the book as well as performing with different theatre groups, including the Nomadic Academy of Fools.
