Javad Dargahi

Javad Dargahi (born Tehran, Iran) is a professor based at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec in Canada. Dargahi earned his PhD while studying in England.
Studies
Dargahi studied mainly in Scotland from 1975 to 2004, the latter being the year he achieved his PhD. Dargahi's book, Artificial Tactile Sensing in Biomedical Engineering, was released and was the first runner-up in the Canadian PROSE Awards.

Dargahi is married to Elahe Mozafarri, who is studying to get her own PhD at Concordia University. Dargahi is Mozafarri's senior. The couple have a son born in late 2008.
