Seajet yacht paint is part of Chugoku Marine Paints Ltd (CMP), a major Japanese company listed on the Japanese Nikkei stock market index. CMP has been manufacturing marine paint and antifoul products for the commercial marine and container industry for over 90 years. The European factory and head office for Seajet is based in The Netherlands. The company has a worldwide distribution network, present in over 25 countries and still looking for new distributors to expand their network.
Seajet specializes in antifouling and underwater systems for both yachts and motorboats. The company has test raft facilities for anti-fouling and sophisticated rotor tests that simulates the movement of the boat in order to perfect the control of biocide release. Seajet have developed an advanced self-polishing co-polymer system (SPC) which is stable and predictable over long periods of time.
As manufacturer of a full range of yacht paint products, Seajet also produces and markets a wide range of boat care products including primers, top-coats, varnish and thinners. In particular Seajet's antifouling products are well accepted in the market. They produce self-polishing antifouling which has a unique new resin technology, hard antifouling and biocide free antifouling. Seajet 033 SHOGUN antifouling regularly win the yachting press awards.
