Scott Underwood is an L.A. based drummer, musical producer and songwriter.
As a founding member of the world wide known band Train, over the past 3 decades Scott has sold tens of millions of records, has won 2 Grammy awards (the highest musical honor): Best Rock Song with the song “Drops of Jupiter”, and Best Pop Performance By a Duo Or A Group with the song “Hey, Soul Sister”. Scott has been nominated for 8 Grammy awards in total. He has won 2 Billboard Music Awards for Top Rock Artist (“Train”) and Top Rock Song (“Hey, Soul Sister”), as well as the ASCAP Pop Music Awards (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and the Radio Music Awards, and has been nominated for countless more such as the American Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards and the Country Music Television Awards for his collaboration with the multi-million selling singer Martina Mcbride. Train’s song “Hey, Soul Sister” has sold over 6 million copies alone - the best selling single in Columbia Records history. It was the most downloaded ITunes song in 2010 and has charted in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart (the most prominent chart in the U.S.).
