World Female Pop Charts is a worldwide music industry standard record chart for female singles, published weekly by the official site and a Facebook page which is bilingual (English and Italian). Chart rankings are based on radio play, digital sales and twitter popularity; the new charts are published weekly every saturday. The first number-one song of the singles chart was "Team" by Lorde on March 9, 2014, while the current number one is "Living for Love" by Madonna. The first number-one album of the albums chart was "Braveheart" by Ashanti on March 9, 2014, while the current number one is "True Romance" by Estelle. Categories The two main categories of the record chart are the top 30 female singles chart and the top 20 female albums chart. The singles are measured through of their popularity on social media and actual sales that they collect worldwide from iTunes. A third factor are the radio airplay charts from several countries (United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Brazil and Canada). Singles remixes are not included in the chart, while promotional singles are. The EPs are included in the top 20 albums chart, except for singles EPs, remixes EPs or EPs which contain less than four tracks. There are also iTunes trending charts which receive updates every minute, and show what is the most downloaded female music both for singles and albums. Featured artists When a female artist is included in a single of a male author, the song is part of the chart only when the female vocals hold at least 40% of the whole song. The first number-one song by a featured female artist was "Rather Be" by Jess Glynne on June 10, 2014; actually written and produced by the group Clean Bandit. Month charts Every month (usually three or four days before its actual end) a TOP 30 Artist chart is published, showing who are the best-selling female artist in that specific month. The first number-one artist was Lea Michele in the month of March 2014. The current number-one artist is Beyoncé in the month of February 2015.
