Scott Marsh

Scott C. Marsh is a financial consultant, author, and lecturer. Scott is the owner of Scott Marsh Financial, a registered investment advisory firm, established in 1994. Since 1980, he has owned and operated Scott Marsh Education Institute, a company which educates professionals through required continuing education classes.
Scott also is a faculty member at Brigham Young University in the Marriott School of Management. He has taught personal finance at BYU for faculty and staff for ten years and also has taught at BYU's Education Week for over 15 years. Beginning in 2004, he has taught the Personal Finance course (BM200) offered to currently enrolled students at Brigham Young University.
In 1978 he received a BS degree from The University of Utah in Economics.
In 1979 he received a BS degree from The University of Utah in Accounting with an emphasis in Federal Taxation.
In 1980 he received a M.B.A. degree from The University of Utah with an emphasis in Acquisition and Management of Real Estate and Investments.
In 1989 he received a M.S.F.S. (Masters of Financial Services) from The American College located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Scott is married to the late Mary Louise Bunker. They have five sons: Landon, Christopher, Clayton, Jordan, and Spencer. They currently reside in Salt Lake City, UT.
