Scott Eriksson

Scott Eriksson is an American writer, filmmaker, and producer. He also founded and serves as Managing Editor for Asians On Film , a leading media outlet covering the Asian American entertainment industry, including film, music, filmmakers, actors, producers, and writers.
Erikkson's short films have won awards at various film festivals worldwide. His short film "No Asians...it's just not my thing" won a Best Actor Indie Spirit Award for Craig Avera at the Boston International Film Festival in 2010, and also won Best Narrative Short at both the Oregon Film Festival, the Charlotte Film Festival, and an Award of Merit at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival. He is currently re-editing the film into a new film.
His short film "Kim the Waitress" won the Silver Screen Award at the Nevada Film Festival and also received an honorable mention at both the L.A. Cinema Festival of Hollywood and the NYLA International Film Festival. His short film "Mr. Nakamura's Addiction" screened at festivals including the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Riverside International Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Fear & Fantasy Film Festival, among others.
His short film "The Learning Curve" - starring Ina-Alice Kopp and Jake Kim - has screened at HollyShorts Film Festival, the New York City International Film Festival and was an honorable mention at the Los Angeles Movie Awards. His short film "How War Ends" starring William Ngo and DY Sao was also an Official Selection of NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, and the Oceanside International Film Festival. He has also directed a music video for Alex Wong (from So You Think You Can Dance) and his first single, Crave.
Educational Background
Eriksson earned a degree in film from UCLA, and a Business and Political Science degree from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. He has also received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
