Envizions

Envizions Inc., is an American company which makes video game consoles, first-party video games, personal computers, storage devices, and card games.
History
Envizions was incorporated on August 4, 2004. It was founded by a businessman named Derrick Samuels, who is the chief executive officer (CEO) and the chairman of the company. Samuel had a vision in 2003 to combine gaming and other entertainment purposes into one device, and so, Envizions was born.
Their first product was the media PC EVO: Trinity HD3, released in 2005, running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Prices were starting from US$879 for the Basic version, involving a 32-bit 1.75GHz, 256MB RAM and 40GB hard disk computer. The Deluxe, priced at US$1,575, has a 64-bit 1.8GHz, 512MB RAM and 160GB hard disk computer.
In late 2006, they released a media PC/console beta, named the EVO: Phase One. Later in late 2008, the final version was released, named the EVO Smart Console. The units sold out and the demand for the system exceeded their supply.
On January 6th, 2010, the Alabama Securities Commission issued an administrative order related to investment activities of Envizions, ordered they stop selling securities until they are registered to do so, and issued penalties in the total of $2,000 ($1000 as an administrative assessment, $1000 for investigative costs).
Since 2011, Envizions has been developing a game console running Android, named the EVO 2. Details and specifications of the console were released to the press in May and June 2011, though the console has still not appeared.
Envizions also made GameBox, which is a online storage platform which stores game data and profiles in the cloud. In early 2011, the company made and sold a social card game named Qquip, involving funny phrases.
Charity
Envizions plans to act as a charity, by helping poor families in the United States and elsewhere by donating a free EVO 2 console to needy families for every EVO 2 sold. In a press release, the company stated their main targets are victims of the April 25 tornadoes, the Joplin tornado and the Mississippi floods. Envizions said: "We want the community to rally around those that lost everything in the tornadoes. We have families that have nothing right now. With all that is going on, many have no idea how they are going to handle Christmas this year. We're thinking about it for them."
