Scott Cliff

Scott John Cliff (born April 21, 1986 in Hanmer, Ontario) is an Canadian soccer player currently playing for Milltown FC in the Canadian Soccer League.
Career
Youth
Cliff attend Oakland City University from 2004-2007, where he received team honours for Defensive MVP in 2005, Team MVP in 2006 and NCCAA Mid-West All-Regional 1st Team.
Cliff attended Laurentian University, where he received the 2008 OUA East Division MVP award. He was selected to the 2009 CIS 2nd Team All-Canadian roster and was honoured as a two-time OUA East First Team All Star. He was also named the school’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2008. During his college years he also played with the Thunder Bay Chill in the USL Premier Development League, where he won the 2008 PDL Championship.
On May 22, 2009 the newly expansion Forest City London announced the signing of Cliff to a contract. Where he helped the club to a third place finish in the Great Lakes Division in just their first season in the league.
Professional
Cliff signed his first professional contract in 2010 when he was signed by Milltown FC of the Canadian Soccer League, where he signed a two year professional contract, thus making him the club’s first ever player. He made his professional debut on May 16, 2010 in a game against Montreal Impact Academy, where the match concluded in a scoreless draw. He captained the squad to a 12-5-7 record, allowing 22 goals in the process(2nd lowest in the league) and recorded 9 shutouts along the way. The club finished in 4th position just 3pts out of first! They went on to play Portugal FC in the Quarter-Finals of the CSL Playoffs but lost 3-2 in a home and away format.
