Thierry Mangwa

Thierry Mangwa (born August 21, 1984 in Ngaoundéré) is an French footballer who is currently playing for Milltown FC in the Canadian Soccer League.
Career
Mangwa began his career in his native France with FC Metz at the youth academy. He turned professional in 2000, when he went abroad to Italy to play with Calcio Padova. Mangwa also had a stint in Belgium with FC Bleid. In 2009, he went overseas to Canada to sign with the reigning CSL champions Serbian White Eagles for the CSL 2009 season. He made his debut for the club on June 13, 2009 in a match against rivals Toronto Croatia. Mangwa would register his first goal for the club a week later in a 5-2 victory over TFC Academy. In total he appeared in 15 matches and scored 2 goals; he contributed by clinching the International Division title for the White Eagles. In the club's playoff run he helped the Serbian side reach the CSL Championship final for the fourth consecutive year in a row, but unfortunately they were defeated by the Trois-Rivieres Attak.
On May 3, 2010 the newly expansion franchise Milltown FC announced the signing of Mangwa to a contract for the 2010 season. He made his Milltown debut on May 16, 2010 in a game against Montreal Impact Academy, where the match concluded in a scoreless draw.
