Scarselli diamonds

Scarselli Diamonds is a multinational diamond sales company.
History
The company now known as Scarselli Diamonds began in post-World War II Italy in 1957 when Gaetano (Nino) Scarselli was 18 years old. He was the only jeweler in Italy who had the license to sell diamonds to American troops, and he launched his own jewelry stores in Italy under Scarselli. In 1978, the company shifted its operations to New York in order to be in the center of the diamond industry and closer to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and to the Diamond Dealers Club, then the most active diamond bourse in the world. The company has been in the diamond and jewelry industry for three generations and specifically concentrating in a more focused segment of the market for the last two decades.
Operations
The company’s head office operates out of New York City, and they have main offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
Since 2010, Scarselli Diamonds has been displayed their famous Olympia Diamond collection in the Museum of Natural History in New York City. Featuring 5 multimillion dollar diamonds - blue-green, orange-yellow, purplish-pink, blue and orange, all graded in the vivid category, the exhibit was intended to educate the museum’s four million yearly visitors on the beauty and rarity of fancy color diamonds.
In 2012, just before Valentine’s Day, Scarselli Diamonds’ famous red heart shaped diamond was featured on The CBS Early Show. It is notable because at 1.71 carats, it is the largest red heart shaped diamond in the world.
Scarselli Diamonds is a certified member of RapNet and DDCNY.
